Romstal Leasing was set up in 1998, dealing in financial and operational leasing for cars, equipments and real estate.

The start-up capital of Romstal Leasing stood at ROL 500.000 (historic value), and grew successively, reaching at present ROL 50,5 billion. The main shareholder of the company is Romstal Imex.

Romstal Leasing has joined as early as 2001 ASLR, a professional leasing association which is part of LEASEUROPE. The company wishes to play an active part within this association in a bid to foster development of this type of financing in Romania.
